Set an realistic but ambitious fundraising goal. You can use these amounts below to help guide you fundraising target:

  • $20 could provide art materials for one of our group sessions
  • $50 could provide books and educational materials for our parent support groups
  • $150 could provide 1 hour of counselling for a child or youth needing support

You can use these templates to help ask friends, family and colleagues to donate to your page. Feel free to add personal anecdotes and stories to make them unique to you! Use the text below as a starting point. Below are Canva templates you can use to catch attention with your post, or use on stories and link directly to your fundraising page.

“I am taking part in this year’s Sun Run to help support local children and youth. I am fundraising for Cameray Child and Family Services, a non-profit who provide counselling to children when they need support the most, sometimes after traumatic events or during family distress. We also support parents of younger children through our Early Years and Parent Education programs, and kids moving up to high school through our ACTs program. All of this is made possible with the help of donations from the community.
