Volunteer Board of Directors Opportunities

Cameray Child and Family Services is seeking passionate and knowledgeable individuals to join our Board of Directors. Candidates with experience in fund development, philanthropy, donor engagement, or community partnerships are especially encouraged to apply.

About Cameray

Cameray Child and Family Services is a well‑established nonprofit that has supported children, youth and families across Burnaby and New Westminster for over 50 years. We provide counselling through a diverse range of programs, including Victim Services, Sexual Assault Services and family crisis counselling. We also support parents of younger children through our Early Years Program and help parents as their children grow through the Parent Education Program. We are integrated into our local community, and our Assisting the Community with Transitioning Schools program is currently active in ten Burnaby elementary schools, mentoring kids moving up to high school.

We are based across two offices in Burnaby, as well as providing groups and outreach services at other locations across Burnaby and New Westminster.

We are currently at an exciting stage of development, as in 2026, we will reflect on our 2022-2026 long-term plan and create a new strategic framework for the years ahead. Like many nonprofits, we are looking at ways to diversify our funding to ensure future sustainability. We are also always focused on deepening our local community connections and partnerships.
