Where Emotional Learning Begins: The Role of Relationship
Young children don’t learn about emotions through lessons or strategies…they learn through everyday relationships. From the earliest years, children experience emotional regulation, safety, and connection through the adults who care for them.
This workshop invites parents to step back from a skills-based view of emotional learning and explore how relationship, presence, and adult regulation shape children’s emotional development. Together, we’ll look at what emotional learning really looks like in the early years, how children experience adult responses during moments of stress, and why recovery and connection matter more than perfection.
Between 10:00am and 10:30am, parents and children will have time to get settled. Workshop content will be delivered from 10:30am-11:30am. The last 30 minutes will be reserved for Q&A and mingling. Childcare is available.
Pre-registration required. Registration opens 11am Monday February 23, 2026 via this link.
Space is limited. Your space is only confirmed if you receive a confirmation email.
